The University of Florida is located on a two thousand acre campus in Gainesville, Florida. Amongst national universities, it is ranked at number forty ninth in the United States. It is one of three research flagship universities in the state, and is the largest university in terms of student population - about fifty two thousand students enroll each year. According the U.S. News and World Report college and university rankings, the University was rated second in Kiplinger's "Best Buys of Education", and ranked just behind the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Sports teams of the university are called the Florida Gators, with a logo that matches this name quite closely.
